Volvo of the bicycles
Story & Approach
Almost every day we hear about bicycle accidents, with often a bad outcome. As traffic doesn't always comes from the front or rear, we needed to rethink the cyclist visibility.
Veloské's mission is to increase the visibility in daily traffic, going beyond where our competitors stop, surpassing the current norm of lightning standards.
Veloské found a solution looking at those beautiful lighthouses, signaling 360 °C and navigating boats home safely. We offer, next to the front & rear lights, two extra lights integrated in the middle of the aluminium frame.
This results in a unique 360 °C light solution* that improves your presence in the streets and catches people’s eyes from every possible direction.
To pioneer innovations, we go beyond where competitors stop, making
people’s lives safer and building the "Volvo" of the bicycles.
A unique concept
New Frame Design
For more than 100 years, bicycles have been characterized by two triangles: a main triangle in the front and a rear triangle in the back. This classic typology is known as the diamond frame. Veloské totally breaks with this classic approach. We took our time to make something totally new and especially something different than the e-bikes you find today. This approach results in a frame that is one of a kind in the bicycle industry.
Our unisex Hatteras stand out in the crowd with his neatly integrated battery, refined triple rear lines, a top tube that combines two (2) tubes into one (1) and unique designed dropouts for chain and carbon belt.
Whether you choose the shortest hilly route or a little flat detour,
our e-bike Hatteras, will always bring you safely to any destination.
Logo & Brandname
Veloské & Lighthouse
When in Brussels, locals mix up french and flemish all the time and on top of that they use a lot of dimunitives. When talking about a bicycle they might use the word: "veloske".
To give it a twist we made Veloské of it.
For our 360 °C visibility, we needed a something that reinforces our idea.
A lighthouse standing on the shores in Belgium inspired us.
The Hatteras Lighthouse from North Carolina, USA, was the perfect model for our logo.
