Flexible Handlebar absorbing shocks 

Based on an insert system, the french BARAMIND handlebars are flexible downwards and rigid upwards. Downwards flexibility absorbs shocks while upwards rigidity ensures a perfect handling of our ebike. BARAMIND handlebars are specially engineered to absorb shocks and smooth out vibrations. It increases your riding comfort and biking control especially on rough roads and bumpy paths.

The Baramind Trek handlebar is made of a new material which is the best compromise between mechanical resistance, flexibility and lightness.  Specially designed for ebikes with a back/up sweep of 12°/5° , 660 mm width and guaranteed  100 % manufactured in France.

Ergonomic grips for more riding pleasure

Many cyclists know the problem when the hands fall asleep or begins to tingle. The hand is a very complex and sensitive part of the body, a lot of nerves running through the wrist, which is a bottleneck and thus a problem zone. Due to the low fat and muscle, the hand is less protected and thus vulnerable to pressure load. Longer rides with increasing fatigue complicate the ergonomically correct position of the hand and cause a bent wrist (picture 1).

​With the Ergon GP1 grips, the hand is supported and the wrist is automatically put in an ergonomically ideal position. (Picture 2)
carpal tunnel syndrome   With the bending of the wrist, nerves, tendons, and blood vessels are compressed. Consequently, the carpal tunnel can narrow and damage the median nerve. With a "sleeping" hand as a result. 

Comfortable saddle  with gel and foam

Another item to increase your comfort. Also for your best comfort we have chosen the new model Ergon SFC3 Gel with comfort foam. This  ergonomic saddle with extra comfort provided by gel pads on the seated surface – is developed for E-bikes or sportive touring bikes.

​The position of the relief channel was optimized with the help of many test riders by means of the latest pressure measurement technology. Numbness is reduced and riding comfort enhanced. A large seating surface effectively reduces pressure peaks and perfectly distributes the pressure on the sitting bones and pubic bones – even without cycling shorts.

Our Hatteras is a ballonbike

As early as in the beginning of the 20th century, balloonbikes had already been very popular. They were designed to compensate for the worst unevenness´s on the many poor roads. But in these days tire technology was not very developed and the tires were heavy and sluggish.

​Today we define a balloonbike as a touring bicycle with large volume tires. With tires widths between 50 and 60 mm it is possible to build a very comfortable bicycle without a heavy suspension fork.  The voluminous air cushion of the tires is used as natural suspension. With approx. 2 bar (instead of 4 bar for a standard tyre) a balloonbike rolls wonderfully easily with a full suspension effect. ​

Balloonbikes are meant to make cycling more comfortable in everyday life. On poor cycle lanes or coarse cobbles, the “tire suspension” principle works clearly better than a conventional suspension system.
 


Our choice, the Schwalbe Marathon Almotion with excellent V-Guard puncture protection is safe, agile and versatile. The new, high-performance ADDIX compound gives the tire improved grip and lower rolling resistance. Ideal for e-bikes (E-25). 

​Seatpost Hook 3, safety level 5

Our seatpost is a 3D-forged aluminium seat post of  27.2 mm dia, 288 gr,  2-screw clamps and 10 mm offset to the back. Nevertheless the standard 31.8 mm dia, we took 27.2 mm dia to have the right flexible in the seatpost. Nevertheless we don't compromise on your safety,  so we selected a Safety Level 5 seatpost for you. 

Ergotec SAFETY LEVEL is a safety classification for steering systems and seatposts on bicycles. 
The higher the level, the greater the safety.  
The largest weight on a bicycle is the body weight (compared to the bike and luggage) and t
he higher the weight, the greater the forces on the bicycle. That is why the bike's safety is always individually influenced by his own body weight
(+ backpack) and a very personal responsibility.
